Being open plan it is bright and airy yet retains a very traditional country cottage feel. The living room / kitchen has soft comfortable sofas, a colour TV/video and stylish magazines to browse through. The kitchen has everything the modern "house-wife" could desire - fridge, electric grill, oven & hob, dish washer, microwave, toaster, etc. A wide selection of our own hand-thrown pottery completes the picture and even though "The Restaurant and Coffee Lounge" beckons across the courtyard, it will be impossible to resist some cooking using our beautiful pottery.
Leading through, the bathroom is designed and fitted out to NITB disabled access specification and includes a low level shower (no bath), WC, hand basin, & shaver point. A hairdryer, soft white fluffy towels & toiletries complete the scene.
Each of the three bedrooms are bright and welcoming with traditional furniture and crisp white bed linens. A double bedroom overlooks the courtyard pond, a scene of quiet reflection. The two twin bedrooms are beautifully appointed and each has a little splash of colour to soften the look of crisp white bed linens and fluffy white towels. Quality and comfort are evident throughout this charming country retreat and complete the scene of tradition & excellence in harmony.
Washing and laundry facilities are located in a separate "washday house" across the courtyard overlooking the pond. Oil fired central heating in every room ensures personal comfort all year round.
We think we have thought of everything to make your stay whatever you want it to be... A welcome pack and kettle on to boil allow you to sit and unwind - the unpacking can wait till later!! Magazines and holiday information for you to browse through, even a copy of the local newspaper.
